CORPORATE LAW EXPERIENCE

Prior to law school, I worked as a legal assistant for a corporate law firm. This experience was essential, as legal assistants and paralegals learn many of the administrative procedures that attorneys often do not have a chance to experience personally.

While working for a corporate law firm, case management was essential. I worked in cases involving civil asset forfeiture, eminent domain, real estate law, employment litigation, and more. All of these cases depend on motion practice with strict deadlines.

Different states require various forms and reporting related to law firm lobbying activity. I managed expense reports to track firm lobbying and business development activity.
