Purdue University provided a program for students to shadow public defenders in the county. This internship encouraged my interest in government and law as an undergraduate student.
In 2019, Elizabeth worked with Indiana with Senate Minority Attorney Office to learn about state government, including drafting resolutions, and following government procedures for passing legislation.
In 2023, Elizabeth interned with the City of Treasure Island as part of a Municipal and Administrative Law Externship. The City Attorney provided mentorship and insight into the range of tasks handled by local government.
